- 3 Cups of self rising flour
- 3 TBLSP sugar
- 1 Can of (12oz) any old beer. (doesn’t need to be fresh or even cold.)
You can also add other ingredients for flavoring. I use things like garlic, bacon bits, grated cheese or whatever you want to flavor your bread with.
Mix it all together and pour it into a baking pan ( I use a 10″ preheated greased Cast Iron Skillet) and bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow when thumping the top.
This is a great quick fix and goes well in place of something like cornbread. ( I ran out of milk :/ )
